The MP for Komandoo constituency, Hussain Waheed has passed away.

MP Waheed has been undergoing cancer treatment for a long time and spend a lot of time abroad for the treatments and passed away last night while being treated at ADK Hospital are the condition worsened.

He has served in the 17 and 19 Parliament and is observed as a calm and collected person on the parliament floor.

Many have been expressing messages of condolences since his passing. He is described as a kind, good listener who gives good advice. Some members of MDP has described MP Waheed as someone who made sacrifices for the party when it was in the most dire state.
