Maldives Police Service has said that the 57-year-old business owner, Mahmood Abubakuru, who was brutally killed and dumped inside a well at an abandoned house in Alifu Dhaalu Atoll Dhangethi, had an argument with the expatriate suspect current in custody.

Police said that the argument took place at the residence of the suspect, Alom Mia Saalim. Police also recovered evidence of the crime buried on the property.
