A dead body has been discovered in the Haa Dhaalu Atoll Hirimaradhoo.

Maldives Police Service said that the discovery of the dead body was reported at 1:30 p.m. yesterday.

Police said that the deceased is a 71-year-old woman and she was found close to the shores of Hirimaradhoo. The inquiries so far has revealed no external injuries according to the authorities.

And further inquiries are being made.
