Education Ministry has banned those who have not received two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine. The ban will be in effect from September.

An announcement by the Education Ministry today said that the decision as part of strengthening the safety of the school students.

With this decision, students of the vaccination ages, parents, teachers and other staff who have not gotten the full dose of the vaccine would be banned from entering schools. And so, the Education Ministry has advised those who are able to get vaccinated to do so as soon as possible.

A major campaign is currently underway to vaccinate the population eligible to get vaccinated. The government said that a large portion of the population will be vaccinated by the end of the month.
