The curfew set in the Male' City Area after the surging cases of COVID-19 has been lifted.
The lasted round of curfew was initially run from 4 p.m. to 8 a.m. before reducing the curfew hours from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and then to 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Now with the low number of positive cases in the Male' City, the curfew has been lifted entirely.
While the curfew has lifted, the Health Protection Agency (HPA) has also said that those who have received the full doses of the vaccine can now travel from one island to another without a negative COVID-19 test result and without having to quarantine.
