Health Protection Agency (HPA) has ordered the release of the people who had the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine that are in quarantine due to the travel regulations in the country.

The HPA announcement today said that from those who has had their two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, the people in home quarantine after traveling out of Male' City are being released and those under the vaccination age currently in quarantine are being released with a negative PCR test.

HPA also said that from foreigners entering the country, those who have had the two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine on the WHO COVID Emergency List no less than 14 days ago are being released as well if they have completed seven days in quarantine in the Maldives and test negative on a PCR test.

While more eases are bing given to the COVID-19 restrictions in the country, those who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine can now travel to the islands that are not under monitoring with a negative PCR test. And those outside the vaccination age can also travel with a negative PCR test without having to quarantine.
