A person has been attacked in Gaafu Alifu Dhaandhoo last night.

Maldives Police Service has confirmed to One Online that an attack that took placed was reported last night where person was attacked with a weapon.

The victim of the attack sustained a facial injury near the eyebrows. While the police investigate, no further details have been offered about the case.

One Online has learned from sources that the attack is connected to a child. And the attack was not carried out by a sharp object and the victim have been released after treatment at the hospital.
