A young man has been attacked and injured in Male' City.

Maldives Police Service said that the attack took place on Alamaa Goalhi yesterday evening.

Police said that a 26-year-old local man was injured in the attack and is currently being treated at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH).

Police summoned two children under the age 15 year for inquiries and released then to their parents.

Child and Family Protection Department of the Police are handling the investigation.
