An arrest has been made in connection to the attack on a young man in Addu City.

The 29-year-old man was injured on Friday around noon where he sustained injuries to his head, according to the Addu Equatorial Hospital.

Five days after the attack, today, Maldives Police Service said that a 31-year-old man was arrested last night with a court order in connection to the attack.

A confrontation turned violent between two groups on the same day where a man and a woman was injured. No arrests have been made so far regarding that incident.
