Maldives National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has said that up to Tuesday, 786 people have been registered for emergency assistance following the chemical fire on Abadhahfehi Magu in Male’ City on 20 September 2019.
Statistics released by the NDMA today regarding the fire, a total of 450 men and 336 women have been registered for assistance.
The people registered include 636 Maldivians, 104 Bangladeshi nationals, 19 Indian nationals. 16 people from Nepal, 14 from Sri Lanka and six people from Philippines along with one person of Egyptian nationality.
Four houses in the area were affected in the fire along with damages to four warehouses and six residential buildings.
