Attorney General, Ibrahim Riffath and the Deputy Attorney General, Khadheeja Shabeen has taken part in the Pacific Regional Legal Aid Conference in Fiji as part of the Maldivian delegation.
The Attorney General’s Office said that this was a conference held to share case information, legal assistance and experience.
Attorney General’s Office told One Online that the conference will be held from 21-23 August.
The visit is taking place after accepting the invitation by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) according to the Attorney General’s Office.
