Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been tasked with building the jetty at Gaafu Dhaalu Thinadhoo.

The project includes the construction of a 130-meter long keywall and installing lights at the harbor area. The project is contracted to be completed in 180 days.

Ministry of Planning and Infrastructure has said that the project is valued at MVR 17,345,217.04.

The agreement of the project was signed yesterday by the Director General of the Planning Ministry, Fathimath Farooq and the CEO of MTCC, Hassan Shaah.
