The President’s Office has said that there are no issues with any of the coalition work even though a meeting of the coalition leaders has not been held once a month.
At a press conference at the President’s Office moments ago, the Spokesperson of the President, Ibrahim Hoodhu said that the leaders meeting is not being held monthly because they are busy.
President Solih has previously said that monthly meetings will be held with the leaders of the political parties in the coalition. However, the meetings slop closed to the recent parliament election and no one has commented to as to why that was until now.
Hoodhu, today, said that there are no issues or difficulties in working as a coalition.
He said that depite the lack of monthly meetings, there are cabinet ministers from the parties in the coalition who are all working together without any issues or difficulties.
