Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has announced that he is set to departed on a medical visit to Singapore.

Taking to Twitter today the President said that he is leaving upon the advice of his doctors. And with God's will,. complete the treatment procedures and return to work very soon.

While no further details were offered, the President and the First Lady, has made an unofficial visit to Singapore earlier this month as well.
