The Ministry of Finance has announced a search for a Maldivian consultancy firm to develop a 20-year National Development Plan.

In an announcement made today, the Ministry stated that the consultancy firm is being sought at the request of the Ministry of Housing.

The Ministry has invited all qualified parties to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for this work.

The announcement stated that the Terms of Reference (TOR) containing information related to this work will be available for download from the Ministry's website starting tomorrow.

According to the announcement, interested parties must submit their EOI before the end of official hours on the 16th of this month.

The purpose of the National Development Plan is to formulate a national development strategy for sustainable economic, social, environmental, and urban development in the Maldives over the next 20 years. The plan will also include methods for effective implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the National Development Plan.
