Fenaka Corporation has mistakenly sent an electricity bill of MVR 400,000 to an uninhabited house in Sh. Komandoo.

The bill, sent to an uninhabited house called Daisyvilla in Komandoo, has now gone viral on social media. According to the bill, the Komandoo Fenaka branch has charged MVR 412,648.27 for the electricity bill. The due date on the bill is set for the 8th of next month.

Regarding the bill, Fenaka posted on X tonight saying that the bill was generated due to an error in entering the reading of a newly installed meter. They added that once the issue with the bill was identified, they have contacted the customer, corrected the bill, and sent the correct bill.

According to the bill sent by Fenaka, it shows high electricity consumption between the reading taken last October and the reading October and the reading taken this month.
