Dhiraagu has opened applications for its 2025 Apprenticeship Program.

The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is an initiative under Dhiraagu's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aimed at empowering youth. It is the first corporate apprenticeship program of its kind to be introduced on a large scale in the Maldives. The main objective of the program is to familiarize youth with the work environment.

Dhiraagu said that through this program, participants will receive various training and gain experience in the work environment. The program offers opportunities to earn income while gaining work experience and training in areas such as Administration, Marketing, Sales, Procurement, Corporate Services, Finance, Human Resources, and Technology at Dhiraagu.

The Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program is targeted at Maldivian youth between the ages of 18 and 30. All youth who have completed A-Levels and are not currently employed full-time are eligible to participate in the program.

The program will be conducted not only in Male' but also at Dhiraagu's operation centers established in Fuvahmulah City, Addu City, Kulhudhuffushi City, B. Atoll, and Ari Atoll. Dhiraagu stated that all youth participating in the program will receive training from various Dhiraagu employees on important work-related information such as developing soft skills, time management, and project management.

Dhiraagu has been running the Apprenticeship Program since 2009, and to date, more than 268 youth have participated in the program. Many former graduates of the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program are now employed at Dhiraagu and other organizations across the Maldives.

Dhiraagu said that through its Apprenticeship Program, the company continues to empower youth, build future leaders, and provide robust training to develop their skills under the guidance of a capable management team.
