President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has officially inaugurated Hulhumalé Hospital as a tertiary care facility. The ceremony, held at the hospital this evening, marked the launch of key services, including the Operation Theatre Complex, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and Centralised Sterilisation Department.

After the inauguration, President Dr Muizzu toured the new facilities, viewed a video report on the newly introduced services, and engaged with staff to learn about the services provided.

As part of the ceremony, Hulhumalé Hospital was also granted its registration and operating license as a tertiary care facility, enhancing its capacity to deliver advanced medical care to the community.
