The final event of the National Bodyboarding League, the Bandufilaa Challenge, wrapped up with thrilling performances and victories across multiple categories.

Sixteen-year-old Eyan Ahmed clinched the Men’s Open title in this year's league, defeating league frontrunner Ali Javed (Jatte) in the last heat. This win capped off an intense season, with Ian emerging as the youngest Men’s Open champion.

This year’s league featured three major events. Ali Hushruwan (Kuda Ayya) won the Men's Open in the first event, the Burunu Shikaaru, while Jatte competed in the final rounds of each event, ultimately securing the league title. The high-stakes National Bandufilaa Challenge helped Jatte secure enough points to finish as overall league champion, marking another strong season for him in the Men’s Open.

In the Drop Knee category, Kuda Ayya remained undefeated. He captured the title in the National Bodyboarding Challenge by scoring 12.34 in the final against Amin Umar Moosa, who scored 4.03.

In the junior division, Mohammad Azaan Ahmed won the Bandufilaa Challenge with a score of 7.40, narrowly beating Eyan Ahmed, who scored 6.60. Azaan also won the junior titles in the Labera Challenge and Burunu Shikaaru, securing a substantial lead for the Junior League title.

The Masters category saw Ibrahim Shaiman victorious in the National Bodyboarding Challenge, defeating Ahmed Afnan with a final score of 8.76 to 5.03.
