President Dr Mohamed Muizzu met with Sultan Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development, on the sidelines of the Joint Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh.

During the meeting, they discussed expanding cooperation between the Maldives and the Fund and reviewed key projects, including the Velana International Airport expansion and other infrastructure and fisheries projects.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to completing these projects on time and strengthening their partnership for shared development goals.
