Vice President Uz Hussain Mohamed Latheef on Thursday night officially inaugurated Health Expo 2024.
The Health Expo is a two-day event organised by the Ministry of Health to spotlight the nation’s efforts toward a healthier Maldives. The expo, held at Hulhumalé Central Park, aims to boost community awareness about the healthcare sector’s initiatives and the importance of adopting healthier lifestyles.
A key highlight of the event was the launch of Hafuthaa 52, a publication documenting the health sector’s achievements during the first year of President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s administration.
The Vice President toured the expo’s 50 stalls, where hospitals, clinics, and civil society organisations presented information on health services and wellness options. The Health Expo 2024 is open to public and invites visitors to explore resources and gather insights on how to support their own health and contribute to a healthier community.
