The Ministry of Education has released the 2025 academic calendar, with the school holiday set for December as usual.

The Ministry of Education today released the Academic Calendar 2025. The start date of the new academic year has also been changed in line with President Muizzu's presidential promise.

According to the academic calendar, the first term of the year will run from April 6 to July 24. The first term exams will be held from July 5 to July 19. The second term will start on August 10 and end on December 25.

The second term test will be held from December 6 to 20.

Therefore, the 2025 holidays will start in the last week of December. The 2026 academic year will start in January.
