Aasandha Company, who operates the Hulhumale’ Hospital, has said that one of the victims in the explosion onboard a launch in the Hulhumale’ Harbor sustained 30 percent burns.

Talking to One Online, Media Official of Aasandha Company said that the condition of one of the two victims is improving.

The Official said that Ali Imran, 39, (Haa Dhaalu Vaikaradhoo) sustained most of the damage in the explosion.

Maldives Police Service said that three people were injured in a battery explosion on board the MTCC Express 1 launch at a wooden jetty at Hulhumale’ after a spark while changing the switch on the patrol pump.
