A dangerous traffic collision has taken place at the Hulhule' junction off Sinamale' Bridge after a motorcycle that ignored the traffic light collided with another motorcycle.

Maldives Police Service said that a two-vehicle collision was reported on the Hulhule' side off the Bridge around 12:45 a.m. last night.

Police said that the inquiry so far has reveal that the collision took place when a a motorcycle going from Hulhumale' to the Airport was hit by a motorcycle that came the opposite way while the traffic light was red.

While two people were injured in the incident , one person is being treated at Tree Top Hospital and the other person is being treated at the Hulhumale' Hospital.

Police said that one of the people involved in the collision last night is a 31-year-old man who did not have a driver's license and the other person is a 24-year-old man who does have a driver's license.
