Three people have been injured in a dangerous accident in Gaafu Dhaalu Nadella.

Maldives Police said a speeding motorcycle went out of control and hit a man near a truck on the jetty road at 12:05am today.

Two 18-year-old men on the bicycle and a 47-year-old man near the pickup were injured in the accident, police said.

Police said the accident was caused by an unlicensed driver.

The driver and the man near the pickup has since been transferred to Malé for further treatment. The two are being treated in the ICU of the IGMH hospital. However, details of the injuries sustained by the victims were not clear.
