Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has revealed that the Thaa Atoll Kinbidhoo Land Reclamation Project is well underway.

As such they noted that the reclamation operations are ongoing, with 30% completion.

The work of dredging the land started on April 18 this year. The project will dredge 25 hectares of land on the east side of the island.

The project is worth MVR 148.2 million. The project was awarded to MTCC on August 21 last year with a completion date of eight months.
