A ceiling fan in a classroom in the new building of Dharumavantha School has fallen while students were in class.

A parent told One Online that the fan fell in a fourth grade classroom of the school. The fan fell on the table where the children were, but no child was injured.

The Ministry remained unavailable for a comment, although the Minister of Education and the Media Officer a the Ministry were contacted for a comment.

The new building of Dharumavantha School was opened in August last year.

Earlier, there was also a case of broken windows of the new building.
