Parliament on Tuesday held a moment of silence to honour the late Abdul Ghafoor Ibrahim, a former MP, who passed away yesterday after suffering a stroke. He had also been receiving treatment for a kidney condition.

Abdul Ghafoor was 68 years old at the time of his passing.

Following his death, the Parliament extended condolences to his family on behalf of the Speaker and all members. Abdul Ghafoor served as a member of Parliament from February 27, 2005, to May 17, 2009.
