A criminal court has ordered a man involved in a violent attack using a sharp weapon to be remanded until investigation ends.

The accused, Muneez, 37, was arrested on October 6 following the incident.

According to police, Muneez assaulted a man inside a shop on Dilbahaaru Magu with a sharp object. The victim received treatment at Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) and has since been discharged.

Muneez was presented before the court, where he was remanded in judicial custody. The court found that sufficient evidence had been provided to support the charges against him.

Muneez has a prior criminal record, including charges of assault and robbery involving the use of sharp weapons. The investigation is ongoing.
