A migrant worker found deceased with visible injuries was rushed to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH), according to the police.
In a statement to the media, the police reported that the man was brought to IGMH in the early hours of Tuesday. However, he was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was employed by Afcons, an Indian company involved in the construction of the Thilamale' Bridge. The police have not yet disclosed the worker's nationality or the location where he was found. The nature and cause of his injuries remain under investigation.
