President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has announced a Cabinet reshuffle, with new appointments presented during a ceremony at the President's Office on Monday afternoon.

Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has been appointed as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer as the Minister of Finance, and Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim as the Minister of Health. The new Cabinet members took their oaths of office in the presence of Supreme Court Justice Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim.

Before these appointments, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel had served as the Minister of Health, Moosa Zameer as the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim held the role of Principal Secretary to the President on Public Policy.

Dr. Mohamed Shafeeq, the former Minister of Finance, resigned earlier on the same day.
