The Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has decided to pay its employees MVR 25,000 as a bonus for last year.

A MACL official confirmed to One Online that the company has decided to pay MVR 25,000 as a bonus to its employees this year as well.

MACL today stated that last year's bonus will be paid along with last month's salary.

MACL pays bonuses to employees who have worked for six months or more in the past year and to employees who have worked for six months or more in the present year.

However, employees who were dismissed last year under the disciplinary policy will not receive a bonus.

MACL has paid an annual bonus of MVR 25,000 for the past two years.
