Maldives Immigration has announced the arrest of three individuals attempting to enter the country using fraudulent identities.

In a post on X, Immigration officials stated that two of the men were apprehended in August, while the third was detained in July, all at Velana International Airport.

According to authorities, the individuals arrested include a 25-year-old man in July, followed by a 23-year-old and a 21-year-old in August.

Immigration has not disclosed the nationalities of the suspects or provided details on the actions taken following their arrests.
