The Maldives State Shipping (MSS) has launched a new route to Indonesia.

"We are excited to announce the addition of Belawan to our Southeast Asia feeder service. This new regular service will follow the port rotation: Colombo - Belawan - Port Klang - Colombo," they revealed in an announcement on Monday.

The company operates a fleet of five ships and currently provides services from Malaysia to Colombo, Colombo to Male’, and Dubai to Male’. Additionally, MSS runs scheduled trips from Male’ to Addu City.

MSS launched their services officially in 2020 as a subsidiary of State Trading Organisation (STO).
