The Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for the post of CEO.
BML's announcement comes after their previous CEO, Karl Stumke, resigned from the post in August. His resignation came amid police investigations into an alleged financial coup attempt by the bank and the opposition.
BML announced today that some of the requirements for the post of CEO include more than 15 years of banking experience and more than five years of senior executive management experience. A graduate qualification in a banking or finance-related field and membership of a professional bank are also required.
The CEO's salary will be based on experience and educational level. In addition to the salary, accommodation, car, and health allowances will be provided.
The deadline for applications expires on the 7th of next month. Applications can be sent via email to [email protected].
