The Prosecutor General's Office has completed its investigation into a drug smuggling case in the Maldives and has formally filed charges against three suspects.

According to police reports, the three men arrived at Velana International Airport at approximately 5:10 am on July 24 via an international flight. The suspects have been identified as Maulvi Mohammad Haroon (49) from Pakistan, Sahil Mohamed (40) from V. Sinamale' 4, 3-03, and Ahmed Affan (25) from HDh. Kumundhoo/Nargisvila.

On September 17, the Prosecutor General's Office accepted the request to proceed with the charges against the accused, as confirmed by the police.
