Police said no visible injuries were found on the dead body found in a Maafannu residence.

According to the police, a body was found in a room on the third floor of a house in Maafannu and reported to the agency around 2333hrs.

The deceased has been identified as Ahmed Fayaz, 57, Nalahiya Manzil.

The investigation so far has revealed that there was no external injury or any suspicious activity, police said.
