Island Aviation Company is seeking General Cargo Sales Agents to expand the Maldives market in China.

The Island Aviation Company, which operates national airline Maldivian, said in a notification last week that interested candidates can submit Expression of Interest (EoI) to [email protected] form and copy email to [email protected] and [email protected] on or before 1400hrs onThursday.

GSA's efforts include promoting the country, connecting with entrepreneurs in the country's market, and identifying how they can collaborate with them in the field of marketing.

A Maldivian official told One yesterday that the airline is in the process of resuming flights to China in the first half of next year. Currently, Maldivian operates international flights to Colombo in Sri Lanka, Trivandrum, Kochi and Bengaluru in India and Dhaka in Bangladesh.

Maldivian said the company is currently doing a route study and thus have not decided on the number of flights that will be arranged.
