Clean Maldives and Maldives Islamic Bank will plant 1,000 trees on the 5th of next month.

Clean Maldives said the event will be held at Kudagiri Picnic Island.

Plant a Tree program is part of the five million tree planting project launched by President Dr Mohammed Muizzu.

Last July, Clean Maldives pledged to plant 10,000 trees within five years.

Clean Maldives is an organization established to identify and protect Maldives' fragile environment and provide a better environment for future generations.
