Women in Management (WIM)'s Maldives branch has opened applications for the Professional and Career Women Awards 2024.

Applicants can apply online through a Google form until 20 September. The form was set up on Sunday.

This will be the sixth year that the award will be held. This year's awards will also feature awards in four categories - career award category, business award category, professional category, special award category.

Minha Faiz Rashad (Minnu), President, WIMMV, said the Professional and Career Women Award is given in recognition of the work done by women working in professional and employment sectors in the country. She said the award was given in recognition of his service to the country and society.

WIM is an international organisation working for women's empowerment. Its country chapter opened in September 2017. WIM has been working hard to empower women in the country and make them aware of various issues.
