Aishath Rizna has resigned as the Chief Judicial Administrator.
A Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) media officer told One Online today that Rizna resigned from the post today. Rizna was appointed to the post on 27 September 2023.
The post of Chief Judicial Administrator is established under the Judicial Service Commission Act as the head of the DJA to plan and manage the general administration of the judiciary.
Rizna resigned from her post while the JSC has started investigating a case against her. The JSC is investigating a complaint filed against Rizna's conduct in recruiting employees to the DJA.
