Editor of Dhauru Online, Moosa Latheef, has been presented with the National Award of Honour in the field of journalism.

He was presented the award at the ceremony held at Dharubaaruge this morning.

Moosa Latheef developed an interest in journalism and entered the profession in 1987. He joined 'Haveeru' as in 1989.

Over the years, he has worked as a sports reporter to a senior reporter, a sub-editor, an assistant editor, a senior assistant editor and an acting editor. Moosa Latheef was the editor from May 2010 until the 'Haveeru' newspaper was temporarily shut down on April 1, 2016.

One of his greatest contributions to journalism is the book her published on February 7 incident.
