Minister of Foreign Affairs, Moosa Zameer, has departed on an Official Visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

During the visit, Minister Zameer will engage in high-level discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other senior officials of the Government of the UAE.

Foreign Ministry said the Minister's visit is an important step forward in strengthening bilateral relations between the Maldives and the UAE.

Minister Zameer is accompanied by Ambassador-at-Large, Ahmed Naseer; Secretary, Bilateral, Dr. Hala Hameed; and Joint Secretary, Mariyam Reesha.
