Maldives' first neurosurgeon Ali Niyaf has started consultations at Tree Top Hospital as well.

Niyaf moved to IGMH last month after working at ADK Hospital for about a decade.

Dr. Ali Niyaf, the first Maldivian Neurosurgeon, pioneered neurosurgery in the Maldives, established the first neurosurgery unit in the country and performed the nation's first successful live surgery. As President of the Maldivian Medical Association since 2019, he has co-authored key publications on neurosurgery, including studies on intracranial aneurysms and brain tumors.

His expertise spans neurotrauma and complex brain conditions, making him a leading figure in Maldivian healthcare.
