President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has revealed that the Cabinet is set to discuss potential mergers of Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL) with Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) and the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation with the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
The President’s Office shared a statement by the President on social media, ahead of today’s cabinet meeting.
The President said the decision to designate Fenaka Corporation as a subsidiary of STO last week was very important as part of the reform of State Owned Enterprises.
Today's Cabinet meeting will also continue to deliberate on the reform of these companies.
The merger of RACL with MACL and FDC with HDC as well as a merger of Maldives Fund Management Corporation (MFMC) with Business Center Corporation (BCC) will be discussed during the cabinet meeting slated for today.
