Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) has launched in-house operational training for Fuel Services personnel at Velana International Airport.
MACL’s Fuel Services, historically reliant solely on external consultants for operational training needs, has recently taken the initiative to develop an in-house training program, designed to capitalize on the experience of its long-serving seniors to impart the required technical knowledge and enhance the skills of its operational team.
"The newly introduced training program is supported by a detailed Training Manual and Trainers from the Fuel Services management team; both reviewed and approved by Learning & Development to ensure that the necessary standards and internal requirements are met. Initial trainings have been focused on Quality Control and Into-Plane Operations areas; while the training materials for Depot Operations and Maintenance areas are currently under development," the company said.
In a show of support, MACL’s CEO and Managing Director Ibrahim Shareef Mohamed, along with Deputy Managing Directors Mohamed Lamaan and Mujthaba Latheef, visited the New Fuel Farm to observe the training sessions.
This initiative is in alignment with MACL’s ongoing efforts to build its internal capabilities while fostering an organizational culture that strives for operational excellence through continuous improvement.
