Maldives Immigration has deported Rajani Shrestha, commonly known as 'Riz' for illegally running a salon business in the Maldives.

The Maldives Immigration said in a post on X today that she was deported after a special inspection conducted on the 11th of this month following a report received to Immigration Watch.

During the inspection, Riz was found to be running a salon business illegally outside the visa issued to her, who also had four foreign employees working in her salon without valid visas.

They were taken into custody and deported on the 13th of this month, the Immigration said.
