Parliament's Judiciary Committee has said that the documents requested following a motion submitted to dismiss Prosecutor General (PG) Hussain Shameem has not been received by the committee still.

Shameem will appear before the committee today.

Committee Chair MP Husnee Mubarak informed the committee that the documents requested are still pending. Although PG Office had said they would send the documents before the committee meeting commences, the documents have not been received by the parliament.

The committee had requested documents related to the allegations against PG Shameem over which MP Fazad had submitted his dismissal motion supported by MP Dr. Anara Naeem.
