Former Deputy Commissioner of Police Ahmed Saudhee has been appointed as the CEO of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the removal of MTCC CEO Mohammed Ziyad from his post.

Saudhee has been appointed to replace Ziyad, the PCB said.

Saudhee previously served as Deputy Minister of Youth Affairs.

He was most recently the head of the Community Engagement Unit, which was set up by the City Council to oversee various street issues.
