Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer on Monday met with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud.

Zameer arrived in Saudi Arabia yesterday for a five-day official visit at the invitation of the Saudi Foreign Minister.

During the meeting held at the Foreign Ministry this morning, Minister Zameer presented a letter from President Dr

Mohamed Muizzu, addressed to Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the two discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral relations based on the noble foundations of Islam in the economic and international arena, the Foreign Ministry said.

The ministry said Zameer thanked Saudi Arabia for its assistance to the Maldives. Zameer expressed his hope that the relations between the two countries would be further strengthened.
